Co-Curricular Credit Recognition (CCR) programming at Selkirk College encourages students to have a well-rounded post-secondary education through getting involved in activities outside the classroom that help foster and hone employable skills.
CCR programming provides students with diverse opportunities to engage in non-academic activities identified as fostering lifelong learning through personal growth and development, developing employability skills and enhancing transferable skills beyond what is recognized on the student’s academic transcript.
Official Documentation: the CCR Record
A Co-Curricular Recognition (CCR) program provides an official document validating a student’s achievement and involvement in various activities recognized by Selkirk College.
Students and alumni can use their CCR official document to showcase their skill development to employers and to include as supporting documentation in their portfolios and application packages for employment, further post-secondary/graduate school, or scholarships and bursaries.
A Co-Curricular Activity Must
be an approved Selkirk College activity
be overseen by a Selkirk College faculty/staff validator
be linked to CCR Competency Framework
not be included as a component of a “for credit” course or program
be completed and logged in the current academic year
Go to Selkirk College's Career Central and login with your student number.
