Reporting to the Accounting Services Manager, the Assistant Manager assists with the day to day operations of the Finance Department. This position actively supports the workflow of the department by reviewing and approving tax related remittances, bank reconciliations, as well as recommending approval of payments, refunds, and other entries into the general ledger.
The Assistant Manager supervises the mailroom and duplicating staff using a teamwork approach to create a work environment focusing on professionalism, customer service and positive contribution. In addition, the Assistant Manager acts as a source of support and advice to faculty, staff and administrators across the College on matters relating to the College, the accounting software, processes and services including relevant College policies. This position will also provide support with projects that support the efficient operation of the College.
