Online Student Record: update your address or request unofficial transcript, for example

Complete and sign a transcript request form and pay the fee ($10.00 per copy).
Give the completed form to the Admissions and Records Office (Administration building) or email it to student records.
During the first week of classes, see the School Chair.
After the first week of class: complete a course change form and submit it to the International Admissions Officer.

Traveling outside the Kootenays
Greyhound busses connect Nelson and Castlegar with major cities such as Kelowna, Vancouver and Calgary.
Castlegar's West Kootenay Regional Airport, has daily flights to Vancouver and Calgary with Air Canada.

The region includes the towns of Castlegar, Nelson, Trail, Rossland, Nakusp, New Denver Kaslo and Grand Forks. Selkirk College’s main campuses are in Castlegar, Nelson and Trail.
Castlegar and area has a population of about 15,000. The town is located where the Kootenay River joins the Columbia River and is home to the region’s major airport. The Castlegar campus is home to Selkirk College’s English Language program, as well as the Schools of Business and Aviation, Health and Human Sciences, Environment and Geomatics, and University Arts and Sciences.
In safe and friendly Castlegar, you will find fresh air, clean water and mountain views. Home to some of the province's best rock-climbing and mountain biking there is something fun for everyone in Castlegar. Explore Castlegar’s rich Doukhobor past and learn how this community of Russian immigrants made the area their home in the early 1900s.

Nelson is located about 35 minutes by car from Castlegar. It is a small city with a big personality on the shores the West Arm of Kootenay Lake in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains. Three Selkirk College campuses are located here: Kootenay School of the Arts - home to Selkirk’s fine arts program; Silverking Campus - home to the school of Industry and trades training; and the 10th Street Campus - home to Selkirk’s Music, Digital Arts, Hospitality and Tourism programs.
Nelson’s downtown is famous for its well-preserved heritage buildings, a wide variety of good restaurants and unique coffee shops. The City of Nelson is one of the most beautiful places to live in British Columbia. In Nelson, you’ll find yourself immersed in a vibrant, artistic culture that revolves around passionate creativity and energetic worship of the outdoors.

Trail is an industrial town located about 20 minutes by car from Castlegar. Selkirk College’s Advanced Medical Transcription and Nursing Unit Clerk programs are located in Trail. It is close to the town of Rossland where there is world class skiing at Red Mountain.
