The CACE student bursary is funded through an endowment account managed by the Selkirk College Foundation. Each year the Continuing Education & Workplace Training (CEWT) Department is provided with a disbursement amount of approximately 3% of the total endowment which creates the funds available for student bursary applications over the course of the fiscal year.
Along with donations from our alumni and communities, the CACE Endowment is replenished each year through the allocation by each CE Coordinator of the net tuition revenue from one OFA Level I course – this is typically a course held in February just prior to the start of the new fiscal year.
